My dear fellow IPOB members!

My topic always is hotly disputed Biafra. I realize that my viewpoint is subjective. There is really little point to discussing propaganda. It is a matter of practice, not of theory. One cannot determine theoretically whether one propaganda is better than another. Rather, that propaganda is good that has the desired results, and that propaganda is bad that does not lead to the desired results. It does not matter how clever it is, for the task of propaganda is not to be clever, its task is to lead to success. I therefore avoid theoretical discussions about propaganda, for there is no point to it. Propaganda shows that it is good if over a certain period it can win over and fire up people for an idea. If it fails to do so, it is bad propaganda. If propaganda wins the people it wanted to win, it was presumably good, and if not, it was presumably bad. No one can say that your propaganda is too crude or low or brutal, or that it is not decent enough, for those are not the relevant criteria. Its purpose is not to be decent, or gentle, or weak, or modest; it is to be successful. That is why I have intentionally chosen to discuss propaganda along with a second theme, knowledge. Otherwise, our discussion this evening would be of little value. We have not gathered to discuss lovely theories, but rather to find ways of practically working together to deal with our everyday challenges.

In Unity we stand better as One Great Nigeria but since our democracy leaders who promised to serve the people's interests have monopolized power and refused to do what is right , to throw away or fully amend the 1999 Military Constitution of Nigeria and create a new Democratic Constitution where the voices of all tribes in Nigeria is fully Represented. You cannot rule a free democratic people with a military or one-sided constitution - that foundation will not last because it gives some people advantage over others (marginalization) Example of issues - "In his contribution, Bosun argued that the conference must address religious imbalance in the country, adding that the conference needed to address religion squarely before it destroys Nigerians. He said, “In the 1999 Constitution, Shariah was mentioned 73 times, Grand Khadi 54 times, Islam 28 times , Muslims 10 times and there is no single mention of Christ, Christian, Christianity or church. Some mischievous elements are taking these lapses in the constitution to come to the ungodly decision that probably that the state is an Islamic state. Giving one side advantage over others creates distrust, enmity, fear. Our Constitution says - We the people of Nigeria agree to do this or that Big Question.arises..When did the people (tribes) of Nigeria meet to agree to do this or that? History does not have a record of that meeting. History only has the record of a quickly drafted military committee constitution that was forced on the people of the Great Nigeria. Even if we do not cry out foul play now, the future generation will cry out and will not forgive us for keeping quiet. The President of Nigeria can end all the protest or presumed war immediately with a good legacy if he acts humbly / honourably now by calling all tribes in Nigeria to a round table to discuss / write a new Democratic Constitution for Nigeria. Nigeria is a Federal Republic but her constitution drafting process does not show the states or regions constitutions that were federated into one constitution. there can no United States of America if the individual states of America did not freely come together to unite (federate) their separate constitutions into one big constitution. Biafra is not a call to violence. Biafra is simply a call or voice for the Democracy Leaders of Nigeria to do what is right and do it now. To either embrace democracy fully with a new democratic constitution or watch how the free people of Biafra will sink the great ship and walk away to start afresh. Nigeria is Great but Nigeria is not yet free from the forces of personal interest, tribal interest, political interest of a few that do not want democracy (equal rights and freedom) to survive. Nigeria will only be free when our Leaders begin to do what is right. Give Nigeria a Democratic Constitution..that is the basic reason why you were elected to a democratic office the voice of the people is the voice of Nigeria. Leadership is a call to represent the people's voice. the President is the mother of a FREE democratic Nigeria (the Mother of Christians and Muslims) and he should act as a good mother now by calling all the children (all tribes, all religions) to a round table to draft out a new foundation that will bind us together as One Nigeria so that we can trust each other better and be free to live anywhere in Nigeria without fear of intimidation or security. Long live the Great Nigeria
